Thank you to all who participated in the summer social groups. The kids and I had so much fun! Here are just a few of the activities we did this summer (of course, they varied according to age and ability):

1. Water fun: swimming, water balloon fights, shaving cream art, running through sprinklers

2. Arts and Crafts: musical instruments, motorboats, rocketships, origami animals, jewelry

3. Cooking: strawberry-banana yogurt splits, 3-ring circus, swimming pool, s’mores, airplanes, butterflies

4. Games: tag, SPUD, duck duck goose, sharks and minnows, all kinds of board games

The summer session finished up last weekend and now it’s time to sign up for the fall! The major focus of the fall will be making & keeping friends, and what to do with friends/classmates during free time: on the playground, at recess, during lunch, and after school. Please see the page called social skills groups for more details, times, and locations.

I have just a couple of spaces left in my summer social groups. Please contact me now for openings!

Due to an overabundance of interest in summer social groups and insufficient interest in summer camps, I have decided to cancel the camps and instead schedule more social groups. I still have spaces left in most of the groups, ranging from age 3 through adulthood! Please contact me for more info.

In conjunction with Kymberly DeLoatche and ASA-NV, I am in the process of forming summer social groups for teens and young adults. The dates and times haven’t been set yet, but please see my page on “summer social groups” for a description, and please contact me for more details!

As promised, I have posted all of the info for my summer camps and groups, including dates and times! Please contact me with any questions, and see the registration page for details about signing up.

It was great to see some of you at the fair tonight! I have posted all of the information about my summer groups and camps on two new pages. If you are interested in any of them, please contact me for scheduling and more details. Within the next week I will have the application form and deadlines posted, so check back soon! 

Come visit me at the Summer Activities fair tomorrow night, Feb. 29! I will have GFCF cookies for the kids to decorate, plus an art activity. Find out about my summer programs there or on my new page, cleverly titled “Summer Programs.” I hope to see you there! 

I am excited to announce I have a new club starting tomorrow! Arts and Crafts Club will be meeting on Monday nights from 7 to 8 pm at the Orli residence in Arlington.
